Introduction

Welcome to Flash Photography for Portraits!

I’m so happy you’ve chosen to enroll in this latest version of my flash course.  Thank you!

Videos

The instruction in this course is presented primarily in video. To mark a lesson “complete,” you’ll need to play the lesson’s video to the end.

???? IMPORTANT: A small number of students have reported that videos are not appearing in some versions of the Chrome browser. If you are experiencing this issue, contact us and we’ll help you with this.

Quizzes

I ask that you work through each section completely and take the quizzes. Quizzes are NOT currently required to complete this course, but they are strongly encouraged.  Take your time to learn the material and practice what you’ve learned in each section before moving to the next.  Doing it this way will guarantee success.

Student Questions

Students of this course are encouraged to reach me with questions via email here.

Some of you will be happy to know that this course is light on theory and heavy on the practical application of techniques.  I’ve created some resources that get into the behavior of light and such things, but if you want to get right to the working knowledge of how to set up and use your lights, this course is for you.

Certificate

Upon completion of this course, you will be prompted to download (for printing) your personalized Certificate of Completion!

BONUS MATERIAL

All course material and any bonuses can be accessed via your Account Dashboard. Some of your downloads are available directly within a course and others are available at your Account Dashboard (scroll to the “Downloads” list to access those downloads).

RECOMMENDED RESOURCE

If you don’t already have a copy of Flash Photography for Portraits (ebook), I recommend you download it. It’s not required for this course, but it is an invaluable reference guide. Learn more about it here.
