Is Portrait Photography Still Safe to Do?
Some have experimented with so-called Skype photoshoots. Some family portrait photographers are quite literally social distancing during photo shoots, and sticking to outdoor photography. But for many of us, social distancing and mask-wearing just isn’t an option. My bread and butter has always been boudoir and other types of work that one might describe as “revealing” or edgy. Working close and indoors is how it’s usually done. So what’s a photographer like me to do?
As I mention in the video, because I’m not working with actual clients or models, I’m spending some time developing content around things like still life, macro, and close-up photography. Basically, things you can do at home, with things you can find around the house.
During the month of May (2020), I’m focusing on this type of thing with my Patreon crowd. Why don’t you join us?
