You’ll need some way to place and support your speedlites, strobes and modifiers for your portrait lighting scenes. This lesson provides a quick overview of the following:
- Light Stands. Light stands are the foundation of lighting support for your flashes. Your stands will need to support the weight of the lights and modifiers you mount to them.
- Adapters for Mounting & Modifiers. Adapters for stands and modifiers are often necessary to connect your light to a light stand and/or to a modifier.
- Other Support Gear. From sandbags and counter balance weights, to A-clips and gaffer tape.
We’ll discuss the ins and outs of putting all of these pieces together later in the course.
