Tao of Photography

One of the problems we have as photographers is that we tend to use our cameras in ways we think we should. We follow convention instead of our instincts. We look for things to take photos of, that sort of look like photos we’ve seen a thousand times. But what we should do is take a break from that every now and then and let our eyes and imaginations run free — be open to what the world sends our way — and let our hearts and instincts have the authority to click the shutter button.
