Everyone’s got a different story and a different reason for becoming a photographer. What made you get into it? Why do you love photography?
You know, asking these kinds of questions is important. Where we start is not always where we end up, and where we end up is not always in the right place. When you first picked up a camera and discovered that you could get something out of it that enhanced your life, I’ll bet it was a pure joy to take pictures. You probably loved it so much that you eventually decided to learn more about the craft of photography. The trick is not to get lost along the way.
If you’ve strayed into the land of gear worship, or pixel peeping, or obsessing about perfect exposures, it might be time to get back to what really made you fall in love with photography.
