Frequently Asked Questions

I don't have a studio. Can I still do Boudoir shoots in my own home or apartment?

Of course! I do about 90% of my Boudoir in my own small apartment. And I’ll show you plenty of actual examples and easy lighting setups that you can duplicate. You don’t need to pay big money for a studio rental. Models and clients will be happy to work with you in your own home, or any suitable location. It’s the results that count, and that’s what you’ll be able to deliver after taking this course.

Will I need any special (or expensive) gear?

Absolutely not. You can use any camera and any lighting you already own. I usually use my digital camera a 50mm or 85mm lens and a flash or two. The type of gear you have will not limit you when taking this course. In fact, I encourage a minimal and portable kit for Boudoir. Keeping things simple and minimal is the way to go.

Will you teach me specific posing and lighting techniques?

Yes! The course teaches you my “go-to” shots that never fail. You’ll learn how to use simple clothing pieces to build your client’s confidence and inspire even more creative poses and looks.  You’ll also learn how to duplicate my easy lighting setups.

Can I earn additional income doing Boudoir?

Absolutely.  Boudoir is in high demand.  Women hire Boudoir photographers for many different reasons:  pre-wedding gift albums for the groom, Valentine’s Day, birthday and other holiday gifts, and a variety of other personal reasons.

Do I need to invest in wardrobe pieces, props, and sets?

Most shoots can be done with the clothing and outfits clients bring in for their sessions.  And the poses presented focus on the client, not the “scene” or background.
